Do you struggle to get your math students to retain what they are learning? Or do you have students who freeze up at the sight of word problems? This session will discuss how one teacher helped her math students develop a strategic approach to solving HiSET word problems while simultaneously revisiting concepts. Busy adult learners liked this practical classroom activity and found that it helped build their confidence in their ability to pass the Final HiSET math test.
